Devonport to Dover

Tasmanian's only long distance multi-use trail.

One day rides for bike riders

1. Devonport to Sheffield 39.6km - a mixture of experiences along country roads, bush tracks and an old railway formation. Stop off in Railton for lunch.

2. Sheffield to Quamby 63km - country roads, forestry roads and bush tracks will be experienced with a river crossing to negotiate. Perhaps a deviation into Deloraine for a snack along the way.

3. Bronte Park to Ouse 58.5km - an easy ride down off the Central Plateau along country roads with a short section along a bush track.

4. Ouse to New Norfolk 79km - a full day of riding along a variety of paths. This ride crosses several farm properties as well as passing through State Forest. Refreshments are available at Ellendale and Bushy Park.

5. New Norfolk to Judbury 41.8km - a challenging ride across the Wellington Range joining the Derwent and Huon Valleys.

Two Day rides for bike riders

1. Devonport to Quamby 102.6km - Join rides 1. & 2. above. Camp on the recreation

ground at Sheffield or have a comfy night in one of the many accommodation houses in the town.

2. Bronte Park to New Norfolk 137.5km - Join rides 3. & 4. above. Experience a night in the Lachlan Hotel, a country pub in Ouse.
